She was in the second term of President John Kufuor Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Information from 2005 to 31 July 2007. With effect from 1 August 2007 she was even appointed by President John Kufuor to the Minister of Information and National Orientation and thus official successor Kwamina Bartels.
