By the age of five, he had already climbed his first 10,000 foot mountain with his father in the Austrian Alps.

He currently lives in New York City and was introduced to the mountains by his family early on in life. He successfully competed in Olympic boxing in national and international tournaments and was awarded Citizen of Honor in his hometown in the federal state of Hesse. Foreign the National team of Germany he trained at the Olympic Training Center.
Florian Hill has led expeditions in the ice-wastes of Alaska, the South American Andes, Himalaya, Kyrgyzstan, Burma, Central Asia and the Yukon Territory in Northern Canada.
Florian Hill consistently strives to combine high performance and adventure. His motivation comes from his passion for elementary and primitive experiences.
Today, Hill continues to travel the world leading expeditions, speaking at some of the world’s largest conferences and working as a brand ambassador and adviser. Florian Hill is the first cousin of film director and Grimme prize-winner Kilian Riedhof.
