Lord Napier was educated at Stanbridge Earls School and at the Otley College of Agriculture and Horticulture.
Career
On the death of his father in 2012 he succeeded as him Lord Napier, Lord Ettrick, and Baronet of Nova Scotia. However, he has not formally proven his succession to the latter title. They have two children:
The Honourable William Alexander Hugh Napier, Master of Napier (born 10 June 1996)
The Honourable Sophie Eleanor Rose Napier (born 24 May 1999).
