Over the past 5 years Francisco"s films have earned him over 60 Official Festival Selections around the world. He was awarded the Golden Palm Award at the Mexico International Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Lady Filmmaker Film Festival and a special mention for Best Drama at the Trieste Festival of Latin American Cinema in Italy. His work often features strong female protagonists and focuses on themes about family drama, human obsessions and the pursuit of truth through an Italian sensibility and Spanish flair inspired by the Latin American experience.
Francisco received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and television Production as well as Dramatic Literature from New York University"s Tisch School of the Arts.
He"s currently in pre-production of his first feature film titled ¡He matado a mi marido! In 2011 he founded his producing company Imperator Pictures based in New York City.
