His first league appearance came on 6 January 2013, in a 0–0 away draw against Civil Defense Mirandés He appeared in 33 matches during the campaign, as the Andalusians were promoted to Louisiana Liga after a 42-year absence. On 15 July 2014, Cruz renewed his link with the Blanquiverdes for three seasons, and was immediately loaned to AD Alcorcón also in the second level
