Career
François Desjardins began his career at Laurentian Bank in 1991 within the branch network, occupying various positions in operations prior to joining the ranks of management. He made a particular mark as Manager of the Bank’s Telebanking Centre, assuming the role of Vice President in 1999. In 2004, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Business to business Bank (previously Business to business Trust) and, in 2006, became Executive Vice President of Laurentian Bank.
Desjardins received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Information Technology Technology from Higher Education Commission Montréal École des Hautes Études Commerciales.
