Career
Bourgholtzer was the first full-time White House correspondent for National Broadcasting Company News. He served at several National Broadcasting Company foreign news bureaus during the Cold War before becoming the head of the National Broadcasting Company news bureau of Los Angeles, California, in 1969. He remained at the National Broadcasting Company Bureau until his retirement in 1986.
