Frank Caufield

He is a past president of both the Western Association of Venture Capitalists and the National Venture Capital Association. Caufield served on the boards of Quantum Corporation, Caremark Incorporated., America Online Incorporated., Megabios, VeriFone Incorporated., Wyse Technology, Quickturn Corporation and Time Warner. Caufield graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1962 and completed an Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School on year 1968.

He is a director of The United States. Russia Investment Fund, Refugees International, is a board member of the Council on Foreign Relations, is an advisor to the European venture capital fund HealthCap and serves as chairman of the Child Abuse Prevention Society of San Francisco.
