Frank Dillane is an English actor, known for playing Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Nick Clark in Fear the Walking Dead and Henry Coffin in In the Heart of the Sea.

Frank Dillane was born in London. He spent part of his childhood in Brixton, before moving to Forest Row, East Sussex, where he grew up in a creative environment. His mother, Naomi Wirthner, manages a theatre company called Barebones Project.
His father, Stephen Dillane, is an actor who has starred in numerous movies and television series (Game of Thrones, The Tunnel), and was awarded a British Academy of Film and Television Arts television Award for Best Actor on Television in 2009.

Career
Dillane made his film debut at his side as an extra in Welcome to Sarajevo when he was six. He became more widely known in 2009 when he was chosen to play Tom Riddle (a teenage Lord Voldemort) in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Having passed his A-level examinations, Dillane was accepted to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting.
In spite of the school rules specifying that actors are not permitted to accept professional acting work for the duration of the course, Dillane was allowed to play James Papadopoulos in the independent movie Papadopoulos & Sons (directed by Marcus Markou) since it was filmed during summer holidays in 2011.
After he was cast, his father decided to rearrange his filming schedule to play Harry Papadopoulos (James" dad) at his side. Since graduating from RADA, Dillane has participated in several projects.
In July 2013, he played in Candida at Theatre Royal, Bath, directed by Simon Godwin. In autumn 2013, Dillane filmed a role in In The Heart Of The Sea, directed by Ron Howard.
He played young sailor Henry Coffin in this adaptation of a novel written by Nathaniel Philbrick, about the sinking of the whaler Essex in the Pacific Ocean.
The film was released on 11 December 2015. Over spring 2014, he filmed the role of "Keyes" in a movie directed by Gerardo Naranjo (name yet to be announced) in which he will star alongside Dakota Fanning Dillane appeared as Shugs in the Netflix 2015 series Sense8 directed by The Wachowskis. Dillane has also been cast in an adaptation of Peter Goldsworthy"s best-selling novel Maestro, to be directed by Catherine Jarvis, in which he will play the lead character (Paul).
Dillane is described by the production company Bow Street Films as having an "amazing talent and screen presence".
Dillane is portraying Nick in the horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead.
