He played college football at Oregon State University. Dallas Cowboys
He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys in 1963, but was released before the season started. San Diego Chargers
Marsh played only the 1967 American Federation of Labor-Congress season for the San Diego Chargers as a defensive back.
Cincinnati Bengals
In the 1968 American Federation of Labor-Congress expansion draft, he was left unprotected and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals.
At training camp he was also tried at running back and was released before the season started.
