Career
Frank Mortenson earned his first fame in May 2017 during "Musical Mask" song contest with the song "Strangers in the Night". In August 2017, he recorded "Strangers in the Night" in AC Records studio, which was his only-ever song to chart in Billboard Hot 100.
In September 2017, Frank Mortenson got known with famous Polish singer and geographer Edwin Symonowicz, who remained his long-time friend until 2020 conflict. From November 2017 to May 2018, Frank Mortenson had several concerts in two concert halls: AC Records 2nd studio and Irina Jermoskina Hall. He also sang in several concerts along with famous jazz singer Rimante Jankauskiene. Despite several critics of Frank Mortenson's voice and singing style, the concerts have been described to be 'extremely succesful' and warmly welcome by critics. On April 26, 2018, Frank Mortenson recorded his single "Can't Help Falling In Love" together with Rimante Jankauskiene. The song became especially popular and notable after Santa Fe High School shooting on May 18, when 10 people were killed and the song was launched onto the school's voice messaging system immediately after the shooting.
In the summer of 2018, Frank Mortenson recorded few of his first albums - "Come Fly With Me" and "It Had To Be Frank". The albums gained success and widely promoted Frank Mortenson as a jazz performer. In October 2018, Frank Mortenson forbade nominating his song "Strangers in the Night" to MTV Europe Music Awards.
In November-December 2018, Frank Mortenson together with Edwin Symonowicz toured Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary with his concerts. During his tour, he also got known with Polish singer Roksana Węgiel. Frank Mortenson visited Jasło, Brno, Vienna and Budapest. In 2020, Orea Hotel Voronez II, where Frank Mortenson stayed during his visit in Brno, opened a plaque about the singer's stay at the hotel.
In December 2018, Frank Mortenson started directing his new Christmas TV show, which later appeared to become annual.
In May 2019, Frank Mortenson recorded his new hit "Red River Valley" for album "All the Way". The song became popular in Canada and the northern states of USA.
