Frank Francis Osmond born in Newport district, is a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1930s, "40s and "50s, playing club level rugby union for Newport Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Hooker, id est (that is) number 2, and playing representative level rugby league for Wales, and at club level for Swinton, as a hooker, id est (that is) number 9, during the era of contested scrums.
Achievements
Frank Osmond represented Great Britain (RL) while at Swinton in non-Test matches on the 1950 tour of Australasia, and won 14 caps for Wales (RL) in 1948–1951 while at Swinton.
