Career

Began practice in Saint Paul, Kansas, 1886. Removed to Kansas City, Kansas, 1888. Appointed city attorney, 1898, elected same year, for full term.

Appointed judge Circuit Court of Wyandotte Company, 1908.

Held office until law creating court was declared unconstitutional by Supreme Court. Elected judge Division Northern 2 District Court of Wyandotte Company, created to take place of Circuit Court, November 1910, reëlected 4 times.
