Albright, Frank Herman was born on August 2, 1865 in Putnam County, Ohio, United States. Son of William L. and Mary (Shierlow) Albright.

Graduated from the United States Military Academy, 1887, Army War College, 1915.

Career

Chaplain Winfield Scott, United States Army, March 4, 1891. Commissioned Second lieutenant 12th Infantry, June 12, 1887, and advanced through grades to brigadier general N.A., August 15, 1917. Service in Cuba and P.R., 1898, in Philippines, 1899-1902, 1907-1909.

Professor military science and tactics, University of North Dakota, 1898. Purdue University, 1903-1905. Commanding 151st Infantry Brigade, Camp Devens, Ayer, Massachusetts, August 25, 1917, later with American Expeditionary Forces in France.

Honorary discharge as brigadier general, November 27, 1918.
