Organized Brooks-Tyler Dry Goods Company (now Berry-Ball Dry Goods Company), 1899. Appointed, 1913, by Governor Fletcher, member Board of Commissioners to investigate educational system of Vermont.
Ex-member of State Board of Education (examiner 10 years).
President and chairman Vermont Young Men's Christian Association State Committee 15 years, also of World Young Men's Christian Association Council and Personnel, World War. Member International Young Men's Christian Association Committee 15 years.
Member National Congressional Council many years and presided at noted Men's League Dinner, at New Haven, 1915. Was federal food administrator for Vermont, World War, also member executive committees of Vermont and North.E. of the United States Fuel Administration.
