Wille, Frank Joseph was born on July 30, 1886 in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Son of Christian and Anna (Kratville) Wille.

Served as senior engineering officer on battleships Arizona, Pennsylvania, California. Duty at Navy Yards (Mare Island and Puget Sound). Director contracts, bureau of Ships, Navy Department, Washington, since 1944.


Member American Society Naval Engineers (member of council), Newcomen Society of England.


Married Anna ensign, United States Navy, 1910, and advanced through grades to rear admiral, 1944.
