Ordained to the Unitarian ministry, 1895. Pastor Passaic, New Jersey, 1895-1898, Boston, 1898-1905, All Souls’ Church, Indianapolis, since 1905. Works chiefly along sociological lines.

Frequently lectures on literary and sociological subjects.
