Franklin Wallace"s wife Eleanor is the Iowa 10K record holder (1955-1959), the former Illinois senior Olympic record holder (5,000 M, 1,500 M, 800 M, 1955-1959), winner of the Bronze medal 1987 National Senior Olympics (1,500 M) and an All-America (5K and 10K 1950-1954, 55-59, 60-65). She was the secretary at the Cornbelt Running Club and is the commissioner of Rock Island Park and Recreation Board. His daughter Julia is married to Donivier Campbell.
They have two daughters, Emmaline 7 and Eden 4.
She is the manging editor of the Arizona Republic, Phoenix and a Pulitzer Prize judge. His son Charles graduated from U. Missouri in 1991 and John Marshall Law School in 1994.
He was an assistant attorney for the State of Illinois and is now an attorney with O"Conner, Sc Bar: 1954. Practiced in Rock Island.
