Career
He was an insect dealer first in Bözen, then in Munich. His private collection, mainly butterflies and moths from the German Tyrol is in Museo Civico di Zoologia, Rome, Zoologische Staatssammlung München in Munich and Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin.
