Patton, Fred was born on October 2, 1888 in Manchester, Connecticut, United States. Son of James and Charlotte Ann (Rogers) Patton.

Education

Student grammar school and high school, Manchester, until 1903.

Career

Concert and opera singer since January 18, 1919. With Cincinnati Opera Company, 1926-1931, Philadelphia Civic Opera Company, 1925-1930, Metropolitan Opera Company, 1927-1929. Appearances with New York Philharmonic-Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, San Francisco and Manhattan symphony orchestras, as well as numerous festival and oratorio engagements throughout United States.

Broadcaster. Sang 8 years at Broadway Tabernacle and 10 years at Fifth Avenue.
