Hunting, Fred Stanley was born on September 30, 1867 in East Templeton, Massachusetts, United States. Son of William and Mary (Day) Hunting.

Career

1 son, William Fred. Draftsman, later assistant to chief engineer, Fort Wayne Electric Light Company, 1888-1893, chief construction engineer, 1893-1899. Treasurer and sales manager Fort Wayne Electric Works, 1899-1910, vice-president and treasurer, 1910-1911. General manager Fort Wayne Works of General Electric Company, 1911-1922.

President and Chairman of the Board Robbins & Myers Company, Springfield, O., 1922-1927. Retired from electrical business and spent much time in California, 1927-1933. Helped organize Fort Wayne National Bank, 1933, president to January 14, 1941, chairman of the Board since January 14, 1941.

Director Lincoln National Life Insurance Company (member finance committee).
