Adams, Frederic was born on October 9, 1840 in Amherst, New Hampshire, United States. Son of Frederic A. and Mary Jane (Means) Adams.

Education

Graduate Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts, 1858. Bachelor of Arts, Yale, 1862, Doctor of Laws, 1899. Harvard Law School, 1863-1864.

Career

2d, Ella King, July 20, 1904. Admitted to New York bar, 1864. In New Jersey as attorney, February, 1868, as counselor, November, 1873.

Practiced at Newark many years Was special master in chancery, and clerk and counsel of E. Orange Tp., Essex County, New Jersey. Judge Court of Errors and Appeals of New Jersey, 1897-1903. Judge Circuit Court, terms 1903-1910, 1910-1917, 1917-1924.

Resigned, January 30, 1919.
