From 1896 until the time of his death Mr. Adams was a member of McKim, Mead & White's office, serving as draftsman, later designer for the firm on a number of important works. Among the buildings he helped design were: the Madison Square Presbyterian Church, New York, built in 1902; Apartment House at 908 Fifth Avenue, 1910; the Pennsylvania Hotel, 1919; the National City Building, 1921, and the Pennsylvania Railroad Terminal at Newark, N. J.
