Education

Came to the United States, 1866. Bachelor of Arts, Concordia College, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 1878. Graduate Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, 1881, Doctor of Divinity, 1923.

Career

Ministry, 1881; pastor at Humberstone, Canada, 1882-1893. Professor of symbolics, Concordia Seminary, 1893-1927. Co-editor Lehre und Wehre, since 1893.
