Career

Ordained Mechanical Engineering ministry, 1880. Pastor Decorah, Iowa, and Galena, Illinois, until 1882. Instructor, later president German-English College, 1882-1891.

President Charles City (Iowa) College, 1891-1894. Pastor La Crosse, Wisconsin, 1894-1897. Professor Charles City College, 1897-1902.

County superintendent schools, Floyd Company, Iowa, 1902-1907. Professor Charles City College, 1907-1914. Professor Biblical and religious literature, Morningside College, since 1914.
