Career
Entered army, 1881; Captain, 1888. Major, 1898; served South Africa, 1899-1902 (despatches, Queen's medal with clasp, King’s medal, two clasps, Companion of the Distinguished Service Order). Lieutenant-Colonel 1908.
Companion of the Distinguished Service Order 1900. Duke of Wellington’s Regiment.
