Wadhams, Frederick Eugene was born on September 27, 1848 in Wadhams, New York, United States. Son of William Luman and Emeline Lorette (Cole) Wadhams.


Father went to California, via Isthmus of Panama, 1849, returned to Wadhams, 1851, and again visited California same year. Studied at Cornell, 1869-1871. Bachelor of Laws, Albany Law School (Union U.), 1876.


Admitted to New York bar, 1876. Began practice at Albany. Secretary New York State Bar Association, 1899-1922.

Treasurer American Bar Association, since 1902. Secretary board of statutory consolidation appointed to consolidate and revise the laws of State of New York.
