Career

Admitted to Tennessee bar, 1873, and began practice at Memphis. Member Heiskell, Weatherford & Heiskell, later Heiskell & Heiskell until 1900. Chancellor, Chancery Court, Shelby Company, Tennessee, 1900-1925.

Appointed judge, Court of Appeals, Tennessee, 1925, and elected to same office, 1926, for term 1926-1934.
