Graduated from Command and General staff schedul, 1925.

Career

Began as stenographer, 1896. Commissioned major C.E., United States Army, September 20, 1918. Promoted through grades lieutenant colonel Finance Department, October 1, 1934.

Member War Department General Staff, 1925-1933. Retired with rank of colonel November 30, 1938. Recalled to active duty, January 1, 1939.

Promoted to brigadier general, February 23, 1942. Assistant budget officer, War Department, 1936-1944. Inactive status since January 1944.
