Frida Hansdotter is a Swedish World Cup alpine ski racer.

Background

Her father, Hans Johansson, was also an alpine skier.

Career

She competes in the technical events and specializes in slalom. She is second cousin of Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland. Born in Västerås, Västmanland, Hansdotter represented Sweden at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the 2014 Winter Olympics and at four World Championships.

She gained her first World Cup victory at Kranjska Gora in 2014.

Previously Hansdotter had eight runner-up finishes, the most in World Cup history without a victory. She was runner-up in the slalom season standings in 2014.
