Frieda Berryhill

Background

Berryhill was born in Waidhoven, Austria, during the time of the expanding right wing movement.

Career

She is an American citizen since 1949. During the 1970s she supported the referendum against the nuclear power plant in her homeland: the Zwentendorf Nuclear Power Plant. In 2006, she warned of the consequences of a nuclear attack on Iran.

She also protested against the Patriot Acting and took part in demonstrations in Washington District of Columbia She died in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Indian consultant Arun Shrivastava published an obituary on 15 November 2012.

Achievements

• Her greatest achievement was the opposition ("Coalition for Nuclear Power Postponement") to a nuclear power plant planned by Delmarva Power on the banks of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.
