Fujisawa Shin was born in 1903.

Education

He graduated from Tokyo University.

Career

He entered Tokyo Dry-plate Manufacturing Company (1927), moved to Fuji Photographic Film Manufacturing Company (1934) and served as chief of Laboratory (1939), becoming executive director (1951).

Achievements

His researches contributed much to development of color motion pictures in our country. With Professor Shoichi Sakata of Nagoya University and others conducted "research on meson by use of dry-plate" for for which he received the Asahi Subsidy for Scientific Researches (1950).
