Career
He was an actor, he was a female impersonator but later learned Bungo-bushi singing and samisen music. Having learned Itchu-bushi singing from Wachfl Miyako, he called himself Wachu II. In the Kampo Era (1741-1743), he changed his name to Fuko Fujita and was admired as the greatest player of the samisen of the time.
