He graduated from Kansai Engineering School.
Career
Served at the Chugoku Electric Power Distribution Company and after the war joined in the movement to organize the Electric Industry Workers Union. When its communist leaders lost leadership, he became the chairman of the union (1949). Elected to the House of Councilors once. A labor leader of the middle-road faction.
