Fujiwara no Morosuke served Emperors Suzaku and Murakami. He rose to the position of Minister of the Right. Respected by other Courtiers for his uprightness. Of all branches of the Fujiwara family, he enjoyed the most prosperity, all of the Kampaku (Advisers to the Emperor) in subsequent years coming from his family. His diary was called Kyureki.
