Career
Served ex-Emperors Gotoba and Tsucnimikado, Was favored by ex-Emperor Gotoba. Well versed in poetry and classic literature, he lectured to ex-Emperor Gotoba. After the civil war of the Jokyu Era (1221) between the ex-Emperor Gotoba and the Shogunate, He participated in Gotoba’s secret plot to overthrow the Shoprunate. Captured by Shogunate forces and put to death in Suruga (Shizuoka Prefecture).
Connections
He became the son-in-law of Muneyori.
