Fumio graduated from Kobe Higher Commercial School in 1916.
Career
In 1916 entered Nihon Itagarasu (Sheet Glass) Company and in 1922 became chief of General Affairs and Accounting sections and in 1927 the director of Business Department. In 1928 made official tour of U.S.A. In 1933 appointed director and chief of General Affairs Department, managing director in 1942 and then in 1943 it's president. In 1952 became the director of Keidanren (Federation of Japan Employers' Associations). The same year made official tour of Europe and America. Held additional posts of director of Nihon Boekikai (Japan Foreign Trade Association) and Nihon Sangyo Kyogikai (Japan Industrial Council) and permanent director of Kansai Sangyokai (Kansai Industrial Society).
