Career
He entered a business career upon graduation from Keio University in 1892 and was particularly active as director and then president of the Tdyo Spinning Co., Ltd. He was director also of many other firms. Among other additional posts, he held those of managing director of the Japan Spinners Association and director of the Japan Industrial Club.
