While still a student worked for Slavic Philanthropic Committee. 1908 founder and president, Slavia Student Social. Secretary, Slavia Polit Social, Moscow.
Worked for following Slavic organisation in Moscow: Slavic Auxiliary Social, GalicianRussian Social, Stur Slovako-Russian Social, January Hus Russo-Czechoslovakian Social, Krizanic Russo-Croatian Social. Head, Slavic section, journal Russkiy arkhiv, ed, journal Slavyanskoye ob’yedineniye 1907 founded Carpatho-Russian Museum, which existed until 1917. After graduate university taught at various colleges in Moscow.
1914-1917 in Russian Army. 1917-1922 in Soviet Army. September 1918-September 1920 taught at secondary schools in Transcaucasus.
October 1920-September 1922 at Feodosiya People's University and Feodosiya Institute of Education. 1921 taught at 64th Feodosiya command courses, becoming deputy head of studies. 1922-1932 professor, Moscow State University.
Read lectures at industry and economics courses, at courses for top employees of Moscow Finance Department, at Latin Institute of Education, at Moscow Institute of Journalism and at Moscow Institute of Oriental Studies. Author of over 200 works, mainly on Slavic studies, many of which were not published. Unpublished manuscripts include: Slovatskaya literatura (Slovak Literature).

Istoriya literalurnogo razvitiya Karpatskoy Rusi (A History of the Literary Development of Carpathian Rus). Planned to publish 30-volume annotated "Library of Carpatho-Russian Writers".
