Campana received post doctorate credits at and received a Doctorate degree in Administration at the University of Sarasota. In addition, he received a Master’s degree from Wilkes University and a Bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University.
During Gabe Campana"s tenure, crime has been cut and economic development has increased. Williamsport has the only Kohls Department store in America that is located within its central business district. A planned 40 million dollar town center is also in the works for Williamsport.
Since he has been mayor, the city has received an A+ bond rating.
During his tenure, he has not signed a tax increase.
He was a school teacher and 12 year member of the city council before being elected mayor.
