Cuevas Barron was enrolled in political science major at the Autonomous Technical Institute of Mexico (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México). She dropped out without receiving a bachelor"s degree to join the National Action Party. Cuevas has been an active Personal Area Networks member since 1994.
From 2000 to 2003 she served as federal deputy during the LVIII Legislature.
Then from 2003 to 2006 she served in the Legislative Assembly of the Federal District representing the Personal Area Networks. In 2006 she was elected to serve as Jefe Delegacional of Miguel Hidalgo. In 2009 she was elected as federal deputy at the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress.
Politics
She has occupied different positions inside her party including head of the Personal Area Networks in Miguel Hidalgo.
