Translated into Uzbek works of Pushkin, Mayakovskiy, Rustaveli, Shevchenko, etc. 1956-1960 member, Central Committee, Communist Party Uzbek. Deputy, Uzbek Supreme Soviet of 1955, 1959 and 1963 convocations.
Member, Uzbek Academy of Sciences from 1943. Secretary, Board, Uzbek Writers’ Union and Board member, USSR Writers’ Union. Communist Party member from 1946.
