Career
He was a pitcher over parts of 10 seasons (1921–1933) with the Boston Braves, New York Yankees, Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox and Saint Louis Browns. He led the American League in European Research Area in 1928 while playing for Washington. Foreign his career, he compiled a 50–53 record in 282 appearances, with a 4.13 European Research Area and 412 strikeouts.
