He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler, who played for Norfolk. He was born in Norwich. Bailey made a single List A appearance for the side, during the 1998 season, against Durham.
Batting from the tailend, he scored 2 not out, in an eight-wicket defeat for the side.
Bailey appeared in the East Anglian Premier League for Vauxhall Mallards between 1999 and 2001.
