He graduated from Olentangy High School and is an alumnus of The Ohio State University.

Career

He is known for being the lead vocalist of the contemporary country trio Rascal Flatts a name he lifted from the studio-console label for his lead-vocal track. He worked at Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities in downtown Columbus. LeVox"s first musical performance was at the age of eight, in a play at his church.

One day, when the regular guitarist was not available, Joe Don Rooney stepped in.
