Gary Alan England, American Television meteorologist. Achievements include initiation of development with Enterprise electronics corporation of the world's first commercial Doppler radar; first person to use Doppler radar for direct warnings to the public; developed an automated weather warning system called First Warming; developed an automated severe weather tracking and projection computer system calledStorm Tracker, now in use nation wide.
