1918-1921 commanded 25th and 49th Infantry Division and 4th and 12th Armies. After Civil War commanded 47th Infantry Division, then 6th Infantry Corps. Assistant commander, Turkestani Front.
Head, Military Section, All-Union Standardization Committee. Military attaché in Turkey, Finland and Italy. Deputy chairman, Social for Furthering the Defense, Aviation and Chemical Indiana of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics.
January 1919 his 25th Infantry Division captured Ural’sk. October 1919 his 49th Infantry Division played important role in defeating White troops near Aktyubinsk. January 1920 his 4th Army occupied Gur’yev and smashed the Whites’ Ural Front.
1937 arrested by People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs.
