He played professionally for the Los Angeles Rams, the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Raiders. Green was born in Los Angeles, California. He played prep football at Gardena High School in Gardena, California, and played college football at the University of California, Los Los Angeles
He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1st round (14th overall) of the 1988 NFL Draft.
He was a 5"10", 189-pounds running back from University of California, Los Los Angeles Green played in the NFL for six seasons, from 1988 until 1993.
He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1991 as a Bronco, rushing for 1,037 yards. Green returned to University of California, Los Angeles in 2011 to complete his college degree.
