Career
Alford played for the Texas Technical Matadors (later known as Red Raiders) in 1925, Technical"s first football season, and is listed in the Texas Technical football media guide as a one-year letterman. According to the Technical media guide, Alford played for Portsmouth, Cincinnati and the Saint Louis Gunners from 1931-1934.
