She won the Mission World Puerto Rico 2014 competition, where she represented Arroyo. On August 29, 2012, Génesis represented Arroyo at the pageant, where she finished as 1st Runner-Up and won the Best Legs Awards. She finished as 1st Runner-Up and won the title of Mission North America Intercontinental. On August 13, 2014, Génesis represented Arroyo at Mission World Puerto Rico 2014. She won the competition and won the Beach Beauty Award. Génesis will now represent Puerto Rico at the in London. Genesis represented Puerto Rico at in London. She is the first woman of predominately African heritage to represented Puerto Rico at Mission World.
